The "Air Hawk" offered extended range, and
batteries mounted in the frame. Most importantly
I could afford it on my pension.
It allows me to live on my own, and function in my
community. Takes trip to Georgia, Tennessee, and
Florida this past fall. It also has let me get around
car shows and train museums on my own. My
"Air Hawk" also makes it easier for anyone
assisting me, by being lightweight and easy to
load in a normal car trunk.
I am an 84 year old man living in a large retirement
community (about 1500 apartments in over 20
buildings on a 140 acre site.)
unfortunately Alzheimer's took over my wife's life,
and when I was no longer able to care for her, she
moved to the continuing care building on the
opposite corner of the site. Using my walker to
visit her left me too tired to accomplish anything
else, so I looked at electric mobility devices. I was
attracted to the Air Hawk because it is small. light,
maneuverable and quick, plus will get me around for
2 to 3 weeks on a single charge. As all of our
buildings are connected by covered and heated
passageways, I can now ride to visit my wife year
-around, in any weather.
My wife had not appeared to recognize me for
some time, but my first memorable moment with
the Air Hawk was, after visiting with it a few times,
I swept in through her door on it and was greeted
with a big smile and a giggle!
My cat, Earl Gray, long ago decided that anything
that was delivered in a box must be for him, so
immediately upon my unfolding the Air Hawk he
jumped onto it. And ever since then, if I am not using it, he is likely on it!
Thank you so much from all of us for marketing such a useful device.
I chose to purchase the Air Hawk wheelchair because
of it having duel batteries so it lasts a full day of
mobility access at the theme parks, for the safety it
has in automatically braking and power it has it
climbing inclines. it has helped me see and do more
with my family and changed my routine for the better
in that I am able to participate in more activities with
them. I have been able to do so many activities with
my portable mobility device that you would not have
been able to do before. I think this device is practical
in that it is light weight and airline approved it will help
others too travel and be more independent. Enjoying
the celebration of my birthday at a theme park is one
memory I have as a result of the Air Hawk wheelchair I own.
I am very pleased that we purchased the Air Hawk
two years ago. The main reason that we decided
on this model was its light weight. The fact that it
is collapsible and could be carried in our vehicle
and easily set up to go was also important. It’s
wonderful to be out the fresh air and sun. I have
been to concerts, Christmas light displays, the zoo
and Disney World.
Thank you for this product. It has truly enriched
my life.
After a devastating illness, my Air Hawk wheelchair
helped me reclaim my mobility, my freedom, and the
work that I love. As a parish priest, being able to be
with my people is one of the most important parts of
the job. My wheelchair means I can make it through
Sunday services, sacramental hospital visits, and
outings without exacerbating my symptoms. My
day-to-day may look a little little bit different than
it did before, but there is no doubt that my Air
Hawk gave me my life back.
My Air Hawk has opened up my world. I live in
a Senior Living Community and being unable to
walk any distance I was pretty much confined to
the apartment and unable to participate in the
many activities of our community. The Air Hawk
changed all that. I now attend book group, served
on the Resident Council, and attend luncheons,
dinners, concerts. We chose the Air Hawk because
the Air Hawk is light enough, my husband can fold it
up easily put it in the car, which means we can go
anywhere, such as restaurants, plays, concerts, and
church. I’ve had my Air Hawk for 41/2 years and
have had no problems with it. Every time I use it,
people inquire about it and admire it. The most
positive memory I have of how the Air Hawk
helped me is that I can now attend church regularly.
Eagle HD Testimonial
I love my Eagle HD! It gives me the freedom to live in 'independent living' at a
continuous care community; otherwise, I would need to reside in 'assisted living'
and wouldn't be able to see all the residents that I've come to know over the last
eight years. I especially enjoy getting together with everyone at our nightly
dinners in the dining room and going to other sites in the building to play cards
and games. Without the Eagle I'd be much more housebound in my apartment.
Thanks for giving me my independence!!

I LOVE my Eagle! I was looking for an electric chair that is lightweight, easily
stowed in a car, has a fold away foot rest, has arms that I can use to stand, is
maneuverable and COMFORTABLE! The Eagle is the only one that meets
all these requirements! It allows me to shop, eat out, travel ( both by car and
air) and most importantly , go to my grandkids' sporting events! I've had it
almost 4 years and have had absolutely NO trouble with it! The large wheels
allow me to travel over most ground to get to ball fields etc. Having 30 miles
on a battery charge has allowed me to attend fairs, expos and conventions
without running out of juice! I've heartily recommended it to many people with
mobility issues- many of whom have approached me for information about my
incredible chair!! I am so incredibly grateful for the freedom it has given me!
The Eagle HD is one of the best purchases I have made. I have a spinal cord
injury and have limited mobility and this has restricted my activity and travel.
While on vacation in Europe this past summer I rented a device so I wouldn't
have to miss out while my family was out exploring. It was a game changer. As
soon as we returned home I began to research folding wheelchairs. I knew I
needed one that was approved by the FAA-Check! I needed one that we could
fold and put in the back of our vehicle-Check! It also needed to be light enough
that it could be lifted and put into the car (50lbs)-Check! Also one big item I was
hoping to find was a chair that had solid tires not air filled. While in Germany I
had a flat on the rental chair unfortunately all of the bike shops were closed, so
we had to wait till the next day to continue touring.
Thankfully the Eagle HD has solid, no flat tires! The battery life is LONG....
you can go all day.
I have traveled several times on Delta Airlines since purchasing the Eagle HD
and it has been wonderful, staff know exactly how to handle the chair and the
quick n mobile website provides all the info you need for the forms. The Eagle
HD makes it a breeze to go through the airport and once you get to your
destination you are free to travel and move about independently. We just got
back from Oregon and I was able to move about freely instead of sitting on the
sidelines while my wife walked around. If you have limited mobility and are
missing out on adventures and touring opportunities or limiting your travel, do
not hesitate, if you are thinking of purchasing an Eagle HD do it! You will be
so happy you did!
Wonder the reasons why pick the Eagle HD wheelchair was through the factthat the one that the VA gave me was not suited for outdoor use. The Eagle
Wheelchair allows me to do things I couldn’t do before. It also allows my
Health Aide to be able to take me to the event by able to fold the wheelchair
up and put it in my minivan. I am 100% disabled Navy veteran and you allow
me to be a photographer for the Kelly Logan house 5K. This event was special
to me because they were raising money for the Michael J. Fox foundation. I
wouldn’t been able to shoot this event without this Wheelchair he has I had to
go on grass get some of my pictures, I have pictures of myself and Suit, but I
wanna show off what I actually was able to shoot that day.
I am a 74 year old polio survivor and can no longer walk. I live in a very walk
able neighborhood in Cleveland and decided I wanted to get out more. My
area has lots of walking and biking trails and ready access to Lake Erie and
the Cuyahoga River. There are many of restaurants, breweries and parks
close by so there is much to see and do. I’m a baseball fan and in 2020 decided
to buy an Eagle HD so I could go to Indians games since I live just a little over
a mile from Progressive Field and can be there in about 25 minutes, from my
home door to the Corner of Carnegie and Ontario, as we say in these parts. On
the way I cross the Lorain-Carnegie bridge which is festooned with the Guardians
of Transportation, the namesakes of the team’s new name. Unfortunately I bought
the chair just a few months before the Coved lockdown took place, so my first year
of ownership I hardly left my house. But by the next summer I began to use the
chair incessantly and have logged hundreds of miles. I can buy groceries at the
local store, visit the iconic West Side Market, go to doctor and dentist
appointments, and just get out to see friends, enjoy nature, and get some fresh air.
.
The chair is very sturdy and easy to operate and very comfortable to sit in. I’ve
taken it on trips to Costco and points beyond, as long as I have someone to load
it to and unload it from the back of my car. My daughter is in the Navy and a few
years ago my son and I drove from Cleveland to Norfolk VA to greet her when
her ship came back to the US from its former port in Spain. I used the chair to
tour the sites of the naval base and the city . On the whole I have found it a very
valuable addition to my life and enjoy the independence it provides to me.
Matrix Ultra Wheelchair Testimonial
.We just finished a Caribbean cruise and during
this cruise I had several people who were using
a mobility scooter that were asking me a lot of
questions about the Matrix Ultra. Two
individuals were even taking photos of my
chair and I advised them that there were
several you tube videos they could watch about
it. I selected the Matrix Ultra because of the
lightweight and the powerful motors to the rear
wheels. It has helped me in many ways, but
most important I am able to go to places that
I would not be able to attend. Just being able
to ride my Matrix Ultra up to the dining table
and without any assistance I can sit with others
is a big plus. I am able to maneuver easily
around a bedroom or bathroom. It also gives
me the ability to freely travel a long distance.
I have MS and this chair is great for me and it
would be very beneficial to anyone who has
mobility issues. It will give an individual the
ability and access to do things they would not
have considered doing. Another positive aspect
was that it does not slip or slide on wet surfaces
as my other mobility chairs did. Attached is a
photo of me on my Matrix Ultra on the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts.
Alan Lee.
First I went on a 4-day bus tour of Monterey,
CA. easily fit in the bus luggage area and I
am seen in photo at the Steinbeck Museum.
My “ride” allows me to get out and “see the
world”!! Next, is me using “Barbie” to
participate in judging a major art event and
receiving a national honor. My Matrix allows
me to still continue with my daily life activities.
I can go everywhere. I teach art so it is vital.
The BIG plus is no one has to push me around.
I do it myself. This one is also super light so
very easy to collapse and load/unload. Barbie
and I are a team. She has widened my horizons. I am grateful.
bought a Matrix Ultra wheelchair this year
after becoming very frustrated with the lack
of customer service from a different
company. I couldn't be happier with my
decision to work with Discover Your
Mobility aka Discover My Mobility.
My last chair was over 65 pounds and this
one weighs only 34 pounds. My daughter lifts
it into the car with the ease of a weightlifter
throwing an apple. It can hold 330 pounds.
Nowhere near what I need but it's good to know I have room to grow! It's comfortable
and lightweight. It comes with a seatbelt,
which I must admit I don't use; being a
daredevil that likes to live life on the edge.
It can go up to 5 miles an hour and I whiz
along making my daughter run behind me.
Revenge for chasing her when she was little.
We've traveled all over with it, flown to
South Korea and Japan and we are taking it
on its first cruise in a few weeks. You can't
place a value on freedom.
Thank you for my Matrix!
I purchased the MATRIX for my husband to
enhance his mobility. Due to an irreparable
muscle injury and lower back pain, he is
unable to walk unassisted. We needed a
sturdy, yet light weight chair that I could
handle. (I’m 83) After much research I chose
the MATRIX. Superior construction using
space-age materials made it the perfect chair.
He is totally comfortable driving the chair
and I have no trouble loading and unloading.
We are now able to visit museums, parks,
botanical gardens and more without
debilitating pain. The chair made it possible
for us to visit all Key West attractions last
Spring and Christmas season attractions at
Daytona Beach. The chair is easy to operate
and maneuver. We are grateful for the
freedom that the MATRIX chair provides
and highly recommend it to anyone with
mobility issues.
My husband told me to order the Matrix
Ultra after he found out that it was 8lbs
lighter than the Air Hawk. He said that at
his age he finds it hard to lift a 42 lb
wheelchair. When i called to place an order,
I was told that they have pink Matrix Ultra.
So I picked that color coz pink was my mom’s
favorite color and at the same time pink was
in because of the barbie movie.
Wherever I go people turn their heads on my
wheelchair coz of the color. then i would tell
them “hi, i’m barbie!” then they responded
hi barbie! then leave with a smile.
We took the Matrix Ultra with us on our trip
to Asia and i’m happy to share the video my
husband who took it while i’m climbing up
Mt. Samat national shrine in Bataan. going
up the mountain was a steep climb but proud
to say I made it. I want to test it how far it
can go. my friends were surprised to see
the video and how powerful the motor is.
Had some questions regarding the wheelchair
so I contacted the office they were very
helpful. that alone is a big plus for me.
This company has excellent customer service.

I have had my Matrix Ultra for over a year
and I use it for shopping going out to eat
with my family and taking our dogs for a
walk to the park. Last AUGUST we went on
a Alaskan Cruise. We flew from San Diego
to Seattle using the Matrix the entire trip.
The Matrix Ultra gave us so much confidence
we have recently booked two more trips on
cruise ships. One to Alaska and the other to
Mexico.
Let me first say this is a tremendous idea
and offer. I am happy to give my wheelchair
a more than satisfactory review because it has
opened so many doors for me and allowed me
to get back out and enjoy so much. I chose the
Matrix Ultra for its exceptional ease of use and
transportation. Before my Matrix Ultra I had a
mobility scooter and I always found it was just
too obtrusive in small areas. With the Matrix
Ultra, the overall length is reduced and much
easier to navigate crowded settings. The overall
weight of the Matrix Ultra and it's size when it
is folded up is truly an engineering marvel.
Ordering the Matrix Ultra was so very simple
and fast. Almost as soon as it was delivered to
0me, my girlfriend and I put the chair in back
of my car along with all of our luggage and
headed up north the Traverse City and the
Leelanau peninsula so we could visit a few
wineries. Even to this day we still talk about
our trip and all the memories we made. All I
have to say is Thank You Matrix Ultra! I
don't want to know what I would be without
you.
I chose the Matrix Ultra folding wheelchair
after researching lightweight airline approved
0chairs. The You Tube Videos were loop
helpful. I have been very satisfied with my
choice!
My sister and I, both in our 70s, vacation
together and my Matrix Ultra folding power
0wheelchair goes with us on airplanes and
other vehicles. It has enabled me to be much
more active.
The Everglades National Parks have Ranger-led
Nature tours on their wonderful long
boardwalks that my sister is able to walk. But
I have to sit down before I go very far. With
the Matrix Ultra I was able to easily keep up
with the tours.
The first battery took me through the airport
and on 2 tours and the second battery was
there to take me through the evening
activities and down the long hall in our hotel.
It was easy to fold up and put in and out of
our rental car. Unfortunately once the hatch
didn’t get completely shut and came open
during a hard left turn. Our bright yellow
Matrix Ultra which we named “Sunny” slid
out and bounced and tumbled into the street.
Luckily there wasn't a car close behind us
and our tough little “Sunny” only sustained
a couple of paint scrapes and was otherwise
unharmed !
Wheelator Reviews
“This is EXACTLY what I have been searching for. My doctor wants me to walk as much as possible, which is great, but sometimes I just get so darn tired, shaky, and even light-headed in the middle of a walk that it scares me. My standard walker does have a seat, but even after resting a few minutes, there are more times than not that I still feel exhausted, or not confident that I can make it back without trouble. If I could breathe more easily maybe this wouldn’t be the case. My solution is simple with the Wheellator. I just keep the leg rests always forward so I can flip the backrest and use it as a motorized wheelchair when walking is a bit much. This is nice because I still get exercise and I no longer worry about how I am going to get back. Plus, when it’s nice outside I don’t always want to go back to the house right away. Sometimes it’s nice to drive around the block and enjoy fresh air. Having walking assistance and downhill support gives me an incredible boost of confidence while walking too. With the Wheellator, I have been able to walk more and longer distances too. Thank you for a wonderful piece of equipment and the peace of mind it has helped me achieve.
When I was asked if I wanted to test and evaluate the Wheellator, I was so excited. I can walk but my problem is that I am not able to walk for long distances. Sometimes I feel suddenly weak and unstable. While I have a folding wheelchair, that doesn’t give me the option to safely walk behind it and use it as support. Then, when I do need to sit down, I have to walk around to the front of the chair. Sure, this is easy for some people, but when I get tired it happens so quickly, and taking even a few steps is a huge chore and very difficult. On the other hand, when I am feeling ambitious, I have a rollator. That too can quickly be a problem. While it does keep me stable and has a hand brake that I use often, I may as well have nothing when I get tired. Once, I had to rest over an hour just to regain enough strength to slowly get back to the car where I was driven home. With the Wheellator, I was surprised at the diversity of what it can do. I love the assisted walking and handbrakes. The controller on the back is so easy to use. When I need to sit, I can flip the backrest and rest until I am ready. When it feels like that might take a while, I can just sit in the other direction and use it as a power wheelchair. And wow, it’s powerful too! The small things like anti-slip lockouts and resistance when walking down a ramp are so nice. My doctor wants me to walk when I can and this Wheellator gives me the confidence to get out more often and do more things. I just wish something like this had been invented several years ago. Again, thank you for letting me test the Wheellator out, and feel like I have a life back!
Electra 7 HD Wheelchair Testimonials
I purchased this chair four years ago or more and I can say it’s still in perfect
condition performing just like the first day I bought it. When going to the airport
I can load it on the plane with no problem and I also go through security at the
airport without any problem . Also when I travel with my car, I fold the chair and
put it in the trunk. I have an SUV and don’t have any difficulty loading it by myself
because it’s very light. I’m very satisfied with the chair and even though I’m pretty
heavy 320 pounds it goes with no problem. Basically I think this chair will outlive
me so I’m very happy with that and I’m happy.
I choose the Electra 7 HD because it is very user friendly. I liked the different
colors it came in and the really easy way to connect the batteries and there out
of sight. Also, it performs just as advertised. You can’t go wrong with purchasing
one.
Due to post-polio syndrome I did a lot of searching online for an electric
wheelchair. Also did research with local medical supply stores. Electra 7
was my choice! The ability for family or friends to fold it & “ toss it” into
their vehicle keeps me moving. Besides I use Dial-A-Ride bus too. The
wheelchair is very strong, but light. In addition, I have found that your many
0videos have been informative. The ability to back up to the seat since the
foot pedal snugs up to the cushion is very helpful and was another selling
point! Thanks to my Scooter I get out to play Bingo and Mahjong, shopping
0at the mall, enjoying Lake Michigan’s Beach and eating at my favorite
restaurants. A friend has a scooter too and we visit around the neighborhood.
Yesterday we had a race and guess who won?? I love my Scooter.
I bought this one (extra wide). It is so easy to manage. I was a shut in. I couldn’t
imagine that it would allow me to travel to a 10 day trip from California to New
York. I attended a tour of the world headquarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses as well
at the New York MET! It was absolutely amazing! It was easy to manage on the
plane. I rode right up to the gate, folded it easily, and took my plane seat. In
addition it has allowed me to go to the mall, movies, parks, amusement parks,
etc. anywhere that requires legs! ?? I also love how simple it is to fold up and
put in my small trunk! I get compliments on “Little Red” wherever I go! Thanks
for such a wonderful product!!
When mobility issues (knee and back problems) limited my activities, I bought an
Electra 7 HD electric wheelchair that has greatly improved my ability to get around
downtown New Orleans and the French Quarter. I selected it for its sturdy
construction, weight capacity and ample seat width. [ The Electra 7 has been able
to deal with the rough streets and obstacle-course sidewalks and works fairly well
on grassy areas in parks and at local music festivals. The chair lets me get around
far better than a walker or rollator. I later got a Matrix carbon fiber chair that is
much lighter and easier to lift into a car. But the Electra 7 is my still main mobility
aid... it's 250-watt motors and solid construction work better than the Matrix on the
rough terrain. Top problems I've encountered are: 1. Rain puddles in the streets
have twice drained the batteries, but drying time and a recharge got me moving
again. 2. The left front wheel assembly collapsed when a nut fell off, but a local
repairman fixed that. 3. Foam pads on armrests are fragile and easily damaged
while negotiating narrow doorways. The Electra 7 and Matrix let me get around
and have a moderately active social life going to restaurants, concerts and shows.
Thank you, Discover My Mobility.
Initially, I was a bit reluctant to try the chair, but after review of the website and
specs, I decided to take on the opportunity. I am disabled after several major
0back surgeries and have had limited mobility. I am still young mentally and
have 13 grand also able to attend some local minor league baseball games and
other grandchildren activities. Have found it easier to take I’ve adapted our
SUV with a lift (even though not required), so even without any other “people”
assistance, I can go shopping leading the parade. Because of its compact size,
I can go anywhere I want and even ride it to the sidelines at our granddaug
And, being a Vietnam Veteran, I was even offered a veteran’s discount at the
time of purchase. Attached are pictures of our attending one of our Grandson’s
wedding, and of course one with my Gal!
